Gathering as one

I’ve taken long since writing. It’s the same reason as always, I find it difficult to put on paper what is happening here. Either it’s boring things such as the power and water being off yet again, or a snake tried to come in my house (yes that’s boring for me now..) or it’s too traumatic to write down. However, I wanted to share about a weekly experience I get to have that I don’t know that I’ve shared about yet. Every Wednesday morning I get to spend time with women from my village. We take tea and biscuits and visit for a while and then we take time stating our thanksgiving and prayer requests. We spend about an hour praying for each of us as well as the nation of Uganda. It’s a wonderful group of women each doing life with Jesus in different ways. I’ve been so blessed by this group of women in my life. I enjoy thinking of Daddy sitting there with us just enjoying His daughters. I hope and pray that each of you has a group of people you can pray with. Sometimes we don’t get to church in a traditional sense, but let us not stop fellow-shipping together, breaking bread and praying over one another. We’re all in this together, but we need to be reminded of that a lot. :)

I will also share that I’ve committed to another year at my current home. I’m so thankful for this property. I have a decent landlord, plenty of room for my many pups, incredible watchmen and it’s quiet most of the time which is a rare commodity! Though it’s not quiet lately due to the amount of repairs and construction happening. We are getting lights on the exterior gate, new toilets for the watchman house and guesthouse, new fuse box for my house and hopefully an outdoor kitchen and new fencing. I’m so thankful for these updates to my home and I’d love to show them off to visitors…. :)

I also want to ask for help. I’m looking for someone who would be willing to help me develop a financial stewardship curriculum. It’s the next one on my list and I’m struggling to put something together. You don’t need to have a degree in financial management or investing, just a heart to help others put Kingdom values towards finances and be willing to do some research. Please send me an email if you are interested.

Love and prayers sent to each of you. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of the many wonderful relationships I have in my life!
